Project includes the preliminary drainage study, surveying, conceptual design, engineering and construction administrative services associated with the remediation of a drainage related erosion problem originating from city drainage onto private property. The project resulted in the installation of a gabion and reno mattress channel and bank lining system to eliminate erosion occurring on the adjacent properties. As part of the work, numerous meetings were held with the property owners to insure that the project design and end product was an aesthetically acceptable product. Other important aspects of the project involved assisting the City with easement acquisition, working around several large trees and landscaped area in confining conditions and avoiding damage to a very old rock and mortar retaining headwall. |
