Moorman, Kizer & Reitzel, Inc. was a subconsultant to Gordon Johnson Architecture providing civil engineering and land surveying services for a new LEED certified 30,000 sq Visitors Pavilion Complex located at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville, NC. The new complex includes an orangery, classrooms, offices, gift shop, meeting and banquette halls, gardens and related parking for buses and vehicles and drives. The project is registered with the USGBC for LEED certification and will promote green building and landscape design practices through its many educational programs. Services provided included civil engineering, stormwater management, permitting and construction observation.
