Approximately 3.5 miles of 16 inch water main; 30 inch water main and 12 inch force main mounted to an existing railroad trestle crossing the Cape Fear River; one of PWC’s first projects to use restraint joint pipe; 30 inch sanitary sewer outfall and a cast-in-place 4 MGD lift station with all controls and instrumentation. Entire project was designed, permitted and constructed within 18 months or PWC could lose 1,000,000 a month in revenue. The project was completed on time and in budget. |
