Repair Tank Trail

Repair Tank Trail project required crossing Beaver Creek with 5 - 4'x 10' precast concrete box culverts (limited cover 1.5') capable of withstanding an Abrams M-1 Tank and passing 3100 cfs of stormwater runoff. Stream bank stabilization was accomplished using gabions and dredging Beaver Creek for approximately 600 feet was required. The dredging resulted in "individual" 401 and 404 permits. The site is located in Fort Bragg's Greenbelt, meaning no plant material of any nature may be cut. Responsibilities included survey, soundings, design, watershed analysis, specifications and permitting.
