Project included master planning to sanitary sewer and water services for an 850 acre sewershed. The area is located in and around two interstate interchanges and adjacent to the Cumberland Industrial Park. The overall plans involved 12 and 18 inch sewer outfalls, 8 inch force main and a 4 MGD lift station. MKR was the catalyst to gather committed economic participation from the County of Cumberland, Public Works Commission, Town of Hope Mills and the property owners benefited to fund an estimated 3.0 million dollar project. A first, the municipalities have previously rejected the concept. |
