The entire project to include EA permit, engineering and construction was completed in 22 months (“start to finish”), saving PWC approximately $150,000 by eliminating a proposed temporary lift station. One of the 1st projects to use “Pipe Ramming” to cross under US 401 due to extremely wet soil conditions and NCDOT well point restrictions. Included a bore thru a dam and substantial construction in wetlands. Responsibilities included EA permitting, wetland permitting, route surveying, engineering, easement maps and descriptions, encroachment permitting, project administration, full time construction observation and construction staking. |
